Sobering, Triage and Transition

STARS offers a safe and supervised environment for individuals who are intoxicated. This service provides a temporary and therapeutic space for individual monitoring until they are functionally sober (up to 23 hours and 59 minutes).

While in Sobering, individuals are closely monitored by trained staff. Staff perform visual screenings and check vital signs to ensure a safe environment.

To support long-term recovery, staff will assess for any necessary behavioral health treatment needs and make every effort to connect, refer, or engage individuals with appropriate services at the time of discharge.

This service is available to all local residents regardless of insurance status.
